With the countless mp3 blogs out there, many turn to the tactic of zany flashing gimmicks and outrageous colors in their layouts to try to differentiate themselves from the pack. After reading one too many of those, it soothes the eyeballs to see Guilty as Pleasure. With its simple gray color scheme and large font you can leave your reading glasses on the desk. With one large column and a sidebar with contact info and a few links, Guilty as Pleasure offers up everything you need and nothing more.
The writing style of Guilty as Pleasure is a lot more relaxed and less serious than some other blogs. Posts are kept short and sweet for the most part, with only a graphic, a few lines of text and then a huge link to an mp3. Songs are primarily of the Independent nature, with a little hip-hop thrown in for good measure.
Take a stroll through the archives (actually there isn't a link to view the archives by month or anything, you'll just have to keep hitting 'View Older Posts'), and you'll be sure to find some great tracks.
